Spicy Sloppy Joes
When I was a kid I always looked forward to Sloppy Joe night, I mean what’s not to love! My mom always made it using the canned stuff so when I became an adult that is how I always made it until recently. I had some onion and pepper that needed to be used so I decided why not try something new. I was just hoping the boys would love it and not ask for the canned stuff next time!
My first attempts at this recipe were good but not exactly what I wanted it to be. The boys are really good with feedback and giving me ideas when I am trying to figure these things out. Once a recipe passes the test with them I make some for friends to try and give feedback. Sometimes I take their advice and sometimes I don’t because I like the recipe and it’s all about me!
This recipe does have a lot of ingredients, which I normally try to avoid because I like to keep things simple. Most of them are spices and hopefully something everyone has on hand. If you are missing something try it anyway and just experiment using something else or just omitting it, it won’t hurt my feelings if you make it your own!
I Love Love spicy food!!! I am aware not everyone does but honestly they should! If you are one of those people who don’t care for it just cut back on the red pepper flakes in the recipe but for the rest of you Enjoy!
***FYI I will be adding more pictures when I make it again, no clue where all my other pictures disappeared to
