Nutella Cream Cheese Filled Banana Bread
Ingredients-
Bread
3 small ripe bananas-mashed
1 egg
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup coconut oil-melted
¼ cup greek yogurt
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla
1 cup flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
Filling
4 ounces cream cheese-softened
½ cup Nutella
Instructions-
- Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a 9×5 loaf pan with floured cooking spray.
- In a large bowl mix egg, brown sugar, granulated sugar, coconut oil, yogurt and vanilla.
- Add the mashed bananas and mix until incorporated.
- Add remaining ingredients of flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- In a medium bowl combine the cream cheese and Nutella using a hand mixer until smooth.
- Add half the banana mixture into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula and pushing into the corners.
- Evenly pour the Nutella mixture over the bread, smoothing down with a spatula.
- Pour the remaining bread batter over the Nutella mixture, smoothing down and pushing into the corners. Make sure to cover the Nutella mixture.
- Bake for about 45 to 50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before moving to a wire rack to cool completely.
